MET Gala 2015| Top 15

Hello, world!
I guess it's not a secret that on 4, May the most exclusive social event called Met Gala or formally the Costume Institute Gala took place in Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. It is regarded to be the biggest fundraising (a record of $12 million the previous year) and bizarre night in New York. The attendants are the personalities of fashion, arts, music, film and high-society. Each year there is a special theme of the event, so the guests are supposed to choose their dress in accordance to it. The theme of this year was "China: Through the Looking Glass". It took me long enough to browse through all the photos from the red carpet, but finally I have chosen some looks which I loved the most and I am proud of myself :) So grab some popcorn, we are about to start!

Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy Haute Couture | Rosie Huntington-Whitley in Atelier Versace | Chiara Ferragni in Calvin Klein | Lily Ardridge in Carolina Herrera

Carey Mulligan in Balenciaga | Dakota Johnson in Chanel | Imogen Poots in Alberta Ferretti | Hannah Bagshawe in Valentino

Reese Witherspoon in Jason Wu | Zendaya in Fausto Puglisi  | Gigi Hadid in Diane von Furstenberg

Alexa Chung in Erdem floral chine jacquard dress

TOP 3: Kendall Jenner in Calvin Klein Collection

  TOP 3: Beyonce in Givenchy

And the main sensation of the night was, of course, Rihanna. She raised so much confusion among critiques and just ordinary spectators, but no one was left indifferent. Personally, I really appreciate her confidence and the way she represents herself. (p.s. but all those memes made of her gown are worth watching! make sure to google them)

TOP 3: Ri-Ri in Guo Pei

And what were your fave looks of the night?

                                                    А чей наряд ваш любимый?

Blue skies over London

current mood

Glasses / Velvet lace top: River Island / Trench coat: Burberry / Skinny jeans: New Look  / Boots: BARBARA BUI / Bag: Céline Nano Bag /  Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs Sally Blue Dial Gold-tone /
Fragrance: My Burberry Eau de Parfum

It's so unfair that not every single person has an opportunity to travel. What can be better than exploring new countries, cultures with like all of your own senses? Not just looking through photos or reading books.. just because you cannot perceive the unique atmosphere of the place in this way. Frequently I catch myself thinking that my city isn't able to impress me anymore. I'm pretty sure I've literally been in every possible spot here. Traveling is one of the greatest inspirations ever existed. I know you will agree with this point, don't hesitate.
As every city has it's own mood, smells, colors, it also has a specific style. Here is my interpretation of one of London's style shades. If planning my outfit I will probably compose something alike, so the only thing left is to get there somehow. Trench coats are widely used by bloggers in their looks this season in such amazing ways and I confess I could die for this beige Burberry one. You know what? It seems not only the trench is on my wish list, but the whole list of these pieces lol.

Anyway, what do you think of this outfit? Does it suit for London? Let me know in the comments below. x

Ready To Run

Music is my inspiration.
Like I always take each song too seriously and I try to find some piece of lyrics and adopt it to my own life. It is not a new thing, I know :) The point is that a song once heard in the morning can become the main theme of my day, a few days or even a week. Ridiculous, yes. But I like it.
So this time I was inspired by One Direction and their 'Ready To Run' from the latest album 'Four'. When I've listened to it for the first time I had images of Wild West, beautiful strong horses, wide barren fields, where you can feel absolutely free and enjoy yourself. As the result, I had this outfit.

I am... Coco Chanel.

I love winter for lots of things.  Mostly for Christmas (of course) but also for the time I can spend with myself. To think about literally everything, to read, to watch and to analyze. So this post I would like to dedicate to two movies about Coco Chanel which I have seen recently & which arose contradictory feelings in me.
